Don't be so pessimistic. Mr Gladioli (or whatever his name is), is nowhere near as scary as Mr Fergie.
Manchester United's players will have much dryer hair and glassier eyes than their Iberian counterparts when they trip, stumble and stagger onto the famous brand new turf of Wembley.
I also think the absence of the boy Ronaldo from the whole sorry spectacle, will improve matters. I always thought the 'Bash Street' Portuguese held the Rooney lad back.
I think this might be the occasion when young Wayne realises that running around a lot, and 'wellying' the ball towards the goal at every opportunity... might be more worthwhile than doing 44 'step-overs' every 45 seconds. I do wish he would try the 'toe-punt' more often though. I'd like to see what the lad could do, if kitted out with a pair of 'Stanley Matthew's' cork studded, buffalo hide boots.
I think Vidic is the key. He needs to get an early 'feel' of Messi's genitalia. That should slow the little f***** down.
I shall be cheering the 'Red Devils' on, despite being an Aldershot fan. Tally Ho!
