Question:
Where Will Our Home Grown Talent Come From When The Next World Cup Comes Around In 2010?

Have the FA and the top flight Premiership clubs given any thought about the future picking of home grown players for a new England Team getting anywhere in the 2010 World Cup as the majority of players now will no longr be at their peak, or too old.

Or will such home grown talent have to come from the lower leagues to compensate the growing increase of overseas talent that presently thwarts any chance of a English player from coming through the ranks to be rated good enough to wear an England Shirt.

Lastly; wasn't it stated that by a set date every club should have at least 5 home grown players in their individual team, if so why isnt this being taken as gospel?
