Or are you a glory chasing Man Utd fan from the Home Counties?

State your local team and who you support. I'll go first:
I support Barnsley F.C for my sins.

Have always supported Leeds Utd, but also keep an eye out for Halifax Town as this was where I went to my very first football match when I was about 6 years old. By the way I live about halfway between the 2.

From JA, now in the US, south florida, I think theres a Miami team and Romario plays for them but its a 2nd division team and being in the US, football is hardly promoted so that will never be aired on tv, and it must only be the players that know when they have matches.

Anyways I been supporting Arsenal all my life

Sure, I do, even go to their games in a while, the Red Bulls.

But Man United is in my heart because I was taught a long time ago, back when I was the girly girl my mother wanted (lasted all of 6 years, poor thing), that United was how football was played. If I learn nothing else from my grandfather, it was that! Doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks...

what is it with yorkshire folk and their manchester united hating ways??? i'd expect it from scousers or cockerknees but apart from leeds scum i didn't know we had a problem with yorkshire teams??? and before you ask i'm a manc, born and bred in mancunia followed the mighty reds my whole life and for the record i'm sick of the trophy hunting southerners that would all be supporting arsenil or chel$ki if they where doing better than us but that doesn't change the fact that we are the widest supported club on the planet!! and why is that??? because we are better than the rest.

take your blinkers off and don't tar all united fans with the same brush.

Actually I dont. My local team is West Ham United but I support Chelsea FC. Since i was born. Back then they were as bad as Roy Carroll against aston villa. but i believed in them and few years on there one of the best clubs in europe. so i wasnt glory hunting.

Born and bred in Leeds and a Leeds United fan as are all of my Family except for my youngest son who I must have dropped on his head when he was a baby as he went for Manchester United - I still can't get over it - it was parent abuse but I've kicked him out of the house now along with anything red!

I do - Hibernian for us in this house!! Can't understand those who support teams from afar! The glory hunters must get bored with their 'team' winning all the time, where's the excitement in that?? Gimme the highs and lows any day!

Actually... There are people in Manchester you know... And I happen to come from Greater Manchester so Manchester United is one of my local clubs. City's new ground is a bit closer than Old Trafford but my family has supported United for generations. If that's glory-hunting so be it....
