the rule is now that the goalkeeper can take as many steps as they want with the ball in their hands but can only have the ball in their hands for 6 seconds(i.e. then kick, throw or drop it).but most referees seem not to enforce this rule.

The rule was recently changed so that the keeper can only have the ball in his hands for a maximum of 6 seconds before he has to release it. They have scrapped the limit on the amount of steps they can take!

Yeah, 6 seconds.
You could play tiddly winks and have a pint, as long as you release the ball within 6 seconds.

THE GOALKEEPER CAN TAKE BALL FOR ONLY 6 SECONDS ,AND THEY SHOULD START GAME.WHEN GOALKEEPER SHOOT THE BALL WHEN BALL WAS BE OUT GAME WON'T START UNTIL BALL GO OUT FROM PENALTY AREA,AND AND IN MIDDLE OF GAME WHEN GOALKEEPER WANT SCRAPPED UNTIL THEY DON'T SHOOT BALL IS IN OWNERY OF THEM.

The rule has changed. It used to be that the goalie could hold the ball for six seconds only. Some goalies hve found it difficult to change to this new rule.
