Oh i'm sorry, am i not allowed an opinion?

I must remember to agree with every United fan on everything.

Listen kiddo, Manchester City have played run of the mill, decent football, not great, not the best, but immensely better than what Man Utd have played ALL season.

If you honestly are prepared to tell me, that you have been entertained by how United have played so far, defending like mad, terrified of attacking and parking the bus (like in the Derby) getting more draws than CITY did by this stage last season which were were criticised for, then we'll just have to agree to disagree.

But note this, it is my "opinion" (Key word there) that Man Utd have played some of the worst football i have ever seen them play and that opinion isn't going to change just because you've had a hissy fit because i've dared to point that out.

Edit on players: Yaya Toure plays central midfield for City, not defensive. There are currently only TWO CDM on City's books, Barry and De Jong. 4-4-2 is dead. City don't play across 3 zones they play across 4.

A comparison of exciting football between United and City - i'm sorry, but United win hands down.

United are known for attacking football, as well as brilliant possession and cross field play. They're always looking for goals and goal opportunites, but which football team isn't?

The thing that sets United apart from City in football style is that City don't possess that spark of creativity that stems from United's midfield, with the likes of Scholes, Carrick, Fletcher, Anderson, and now even Gibson.. creative players at best. They all do their own thing but are linked together in their one thing in mind - attack.

City don't even come close in their midfield. Yes they've got good players, but nowhere near as good creativity to kill those vital games off like United do.

How about the United-City derby that ended 4-3? Who won? United, because they had the final push of power that showed everyone who wanted it more. That's what City don't have, and ever will.. no matter how much they spend :)

Anyone who thinks Man United play entertaining football is obviously very easily pleased. They're dire at the best of times.

The Duke's answer is brilliant, particularly the parts about Yaya being a CM and not a DM, and 442 being dead. Both accurate statements that too many people have not cottoned on to.

I too believe that with the players they have City are capable of playing better, more incisive football than United.
Blueys coming out!

strange until he got his first choice....he played the 4-5-1 now he plays a 4-3-3.

De jong, DM

Yaya DM/AM

Barry DM/AM

Silva AM?DM

Milner AM/DM

Johnson AM/DM

Seems most of the Midfielders have been doing their jobs but also have changed roles when the system required it.....I think if you look at the stats they have played more attck than defence since he has had a full team.

1-2 Everton 70% possession against a park the bus defence.

3-1 Newcastle

4-0 villa total domination

8 for 3 against not bad for a denfencive team. seems kind of balanced.lol

Remind me who has the best away record?

City play with literally 7 or 8 defenders...

Shame because they did use to be known for entertaining, attacking football

Back in the 70s or something

FA: Neither to be honest with you... I like watching Blackpool, Bolton... maybe WBA as well, they play adventurous football

Newcastle play good football as well

EDIT

Mr X... more goals does not mean entertainment...

EDIT

No mate, Spurs play brill football in the league as well

When they beat us at Emirates they did it with good football

They don't hold back and defend, they come out with guns blazing and without fear

Christ, I support Arsenal and I'm defending them

I watched Mancity today vs Aston Villa and I have to say, I found it very entertaining. Their passing was great and Silva was leading all the way!

You can even admit United's tactics this season have been far from postive.

To be frankly honest, hardly any team in the PL plays entertaining football. Blackpool and Arsenal are about it. West Brom do as well, often. But for City fans to criticise us as well is silly, because they're just as bad.

Obviously, as a Utd fan, I'd rather see us play =)

Yes, we can be boring at times but we can very exciting also. I don't tend to watch many United games but i watched the Liverpool vs Man U game and that was pretty exciting.
