there was a guy on radio 909 (or 606 can't remember) saying that certain "significant" utd fans have been rallying a consortium together to buy back the club from the glazers...

it was claimed they could possibly generate around £500 combined but it would still leave them short...then other callers called in with possible strategies to achieve the rest of the cash needed,,,ie. normal MU fans (i.e 300m people) buy special "buy our club back" or "LUHG" shirts which would be manafactured and sold by a separate company and then the owners of that company (united fans) would use the profit to aid the take over....

I'm just wondering if any other Utd fans have a better solution....as i said there is apparently a consortium of "wealthy united fans" willing to give this movement momentum.....

Thoughts?

Do you work for the club?

i've heard on the grapevine that the only way for Utd to help reduce the debt is to sell the training ground,Old Trafford,Wayne Rooney and Vidic. You shouldn't be so excitable so easily mate, things like that never happen. If Man Utd were tht much of an attractive investment opportunity, wouldn't some billionaire have already offered to buy the club.

It's a great idea it really is but such a thing would need huge investment to even start. There is the cost of manufacture, the cost of shipping, labor costs, tax etc.

Not to mention the whole thing would be a logistical nightmare. If it happens though I'd be to first to go out and buy one.
