Well if Song plays in defence in a game, then Diaby can play as defensive midfielder along with Wilshere/Denilson. Djourou has been great for us this season and should become first choice defender.



Miquel came from Barcelona's La Masia and he is exactly like Gerard Pique - he's tall and strong. Miquel is currently the reserves captain and should become a top quality defender in the future.

I agree with him, there is no point in spending money on a defender if Djourou and Koscielny are playing well and Vermaelen is still to return. Also we still have young defenders like Miquel, Nordveit and Cruise.
